What is the Mothercare Family Card?
The Mothercare Family Card is the Mothercare loyalty club card. Mothercare Family Card is here to make your life easier by rewarding you every time you spend in store or online.
Where can I pick up a Family Card?
You can pick up a Family Card in any of our Mothercare or Early Learning Centre stores nationwide. We have 15 stores. Click here for our store locator
How am I rewarded for purchasing in store or online if I have a Family Card?
You earn points on all purchases made. Each point is worth a cent. You will earn 2 points for every 1 euro spent. Save up your points and just like a gift card use the value against any in store purchase.
When can I start earning points?
Immediately! Once you pick up your card in store, you can start earning points right away. If you are in-store present your card before or during the transaction. Your card will be credited with the points earned from your transaction.
You must hand your card to the sales assistant before the end of your transaction as points cannot be added after the sale is complete.
When can I start redeeming or using my points?
You need to register your card before you can start using the points you have accumulated.
Where can I sign up?
The quickest and easiest way to register is to do so at www.mothercare.ie, but if you prefer you can fill out the form that your card was attached to when you first pick it up in store and return it to a staff member for processing. It may take up to 10 working days to validate a Family Card application form handed in to store or sent by post.
I don’t live near a Mothercare store – can I still avail of the Family Card?
Yes, you can avail of a family card by downloading the mothercare family card app.
I already have an online account with mothercare.ie, how do I register my card?
After logging in to your account, go to the Family Card section in your account menu. You can register your card to your account there.
I don’t have any account with mothercare.ie, how do I register my Family Card?
If you go to the registration page and you can sign up your card and online account at the same time!
How do I spend my Family Card Points?
Spending Points online:
If you have registered successfully, all you need to do is log in to your account and select the items you wish to purchase. When you go to the “View Basket” page you can select exactly the number of points you wish to use against your order total. Once you are happy, you can checkout as normal to pay any remaining balance by credit, debit or laser card.
Spending Points in-store:
Simply produce your Family Card at the time of purchase, letting the cashier know you would like to spend your points, and the value on your card will be deducted from the transaction total.
Please note: Points cannot be redeemed without your Family Card. Points cannot be collected on gift card purchases. You cannot redeem your points value for cash.
How do I add points to my family card?
If you have already purchased and have a receipt or online order number that you wish to add to your Family Card, please send us:

How do I access my account once I have joined?
Customers who registered online:
When you registered you will have specified an email address and password for your account. You can use these details to log in here.
Customers who registered in a mothercare store:
We created an online account for you and sent you an email. Follow these instructions to access your account. Your username is your email address and your default password will be your security code (second set of digits on your card). You can log in here.
Forgotten your password?
Don't worry, just use the forgotten password option in the login section. You will be sent an email to your registered email address with new password.
How do I check my Points Balance?
Simply log in to your account, click on "My Family Card" and then the "Check My Balance" button.
You can check your points balance in any of our stores nationwide. You will need to present your card whenever using or checking your account in-store.
On your receipts there will also be a statement which will tell you how many points you have collected and what they are worth to spend on products in store.
If you are not making a purchase feel free to call into any of our stores with your Mothercare Family Card and we'll be more than happy to confirm your points balance for you.
Will I lose my points if I don’t register the card?
Yes, From 1 Jan '14 all cards must be registered within 1 month (and/or 31 days, whichever is the longer) of first use or the points on this card will be erased and become null and void.
Do I have to use my points within a certain period of time?
Yes, from 1 Jan '14 all registered card that have not shown any activity (spend or saving of points) for the preceding 6 month period will be cancelled and all points will be erased and become null and void.
What if I forget my card?
Points cannot be allocated to a members' card retrospectively
What happens if I return an item?
If you have purchased an item & require a refund, these points will be removed from your card.
If you have purchased the item using your Family Card points these points will be reimbursed to your card.
What should I do if my card is stolen or lost?
You can report your stolen / lost card in any of our stores nationwide (or by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org) Please reference your registered details including your email address, full name, address, phone number and, if possible, your Family Card number.
You will be issued with a new card and we’ll transfer the points from your old card within 10 working days to your new card.
If you have not registered your card online we will not be able to re issue and transfer the balance on a lost or stolen card.
How do I change my registered details?
Registered details such as name, postal address or contact phone numbers can be updated in your account page. To access these details just follow the instructions above on logging in to your account.
Will any third party see my data?
Personal details that you supply during the application process will be held in the strictest confidence by Mothercare. Your personal information will not be divulged to anyone or any organisation outside of Mothercare without your required permission.
I don't want to be contacted by Mothercare, what should I do?
When you register you are asked how you want to be contacted. If this box is ignored, you will automatically receive information we feel is relevant to you. You can request to be removed from the contact list at any time.

Mothercare Family Club Offers is a brand new initiative from Mothercare Ireland, it offers a range of fun and different things for the whole family to do and experience. These include great discounts on days out for the kids, relaxing weekends away for Mum and Dad, and lots more that we think you'll be interested in.
How do I sign up to receive email notifications from Mothercare Family Club Offers?
Signing up to receive is deals couldn't be easier! Just make sure you have ticked to sign up for emails during registration on our website, or if you're already registered, make sure this is ticked under your Personal Details in your My Account section.
What if I don't want to get emails every day?
There are plenty of other ways to keep track of Mothercare Family Club Offers! The best method is of course by email, here you'll receive all the latest offers. How does it work?
Buying something on the offers website is very easy. Just visit the offers website, click "Buy Now" on your desired offer and you'll be taken to the purchase page. There you can decide how many vouchers you want to buy, fill in your email address, phone number, and payment details. Then hit "Complete Your Order" and you're done!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards - cards accepted include: Visa, Mastercard, Laser, Maestro, Visa Debit and O2 Money Card payments.
When do I get my voucher?
Your voucher will be emailed out to you within 24 hours of purchase, although it rarely takes more than an hour.
How do I redeem a voucher from Mothercare Family Club Offer?
Vouchers will generally have redemption instructions printed on them, but in most cases it's a matter of printing off the voucher and presenting it to the business when you claim your voucher. Some deals will need to be booked in advance, in which case you should mention that you are claiming a Mothercare Family Club Offers voucher at the time of booking. Please always bring a printed copy of your voucher with you to the business. Showing them the voucher on your phone is not always enough.
Can I give a Mothercare Family Club Offers voucher as a gift?
Absolutely! We know that we're not the only ones who appreciate a good deal, so feel free to give the vouchers you've purchased to others as gifts.
When can I use my voucher?
In most cases you can use your voucher as soon as you get it. If there are any restrictions on when the voucher can be used, these will be clearly displayed in the terms and conditions, so please check there to make sure your voucher is valid for the date you want to claim it. There will always be a ‘Valid Until' date clearly displayed on the voucher.
How many can I buy?
Most vouchers have a limit on how many you can buy for your own use, but you can normally buy more to give to family and friends as gifts.
What if I don't use the entire value of my Mothercare Family Club Offers voucher in one visit? Can I use the remainder later?
Unless otherwise specified, the entire value of the voucher must be used in one visit.
Can I purchase a Mothercare Family Club Offer that has expired?
No, once an offer has expired it cannot be purchased, so please pay close attention to how much time is left on each deal and don't miss your chance!
What happens if a Mothercare Family Club Offer is sold out?
We have limited numbers of vouchers available, and if they sell out then you'll have missed your chance. So try to avoid procrastinating if you want to buy an offer; other people might snatch them all up if you put it off!
I bought a voucher, Can I return it and get a refund?
If you write to email@example.com within seven days of purchasing your voucher, then we can cancel it and offer you a refund without any problem.
My voucher has expired! Can I still use it?
In some cases, businesses may be willing to extend a grace period after the voucher has expired. This is purely at the discretion of the business, and Mothercare Family Club Offers has no influence over the Business Owner's decision.

How can I unsubscribe from your emails?
There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email/newsletter which we send out. Just click on this link and you'll be unsubscribed.
