    + the idea of it!
    - Setting it up was very hard. Screws incredibly difficult to turn, diagrams were a bit vague, challenging not to mark the plastic when wrestling with screws. I'd hoped to swap it between prams but this will require adjusting the settings and is not practical.

+ Easy enough to fold up and wheels pop on and off with no issue. My son loves it.
    - Getting it down, the catch is stiff and awkward. I hurt my fingers trying to press it and now actually use a bottle opener to unclick it. Maybe I have a botch product or it should come with a key? Not sure. Either way not great when caught in a sudden downpour and want to move fast!

    - It had been inproperly put together in the box. When we compared the picture diagram with the platform, we realised that two parts were on the wrong way round. My husband had to remove them and correct them.
Also, we find that we are unable to collapse the buggy because of the brackets for the platform.

    Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

+ Looks good. My daughter loves her "special wheels". Great idea.
    - Nightmare to assemble and attach, instructions not very clear. Have to keep re-tightening it every few days. Attached to the Mothercare Roam pram, even with handle on pram fully extended I kick it every time I use it (I'm only 5ft 6in). Spend more time unclogging the wheels due to build up of grass cuttings, mud etc. Only been in use for 3 months and one of the wheels has blistered and will need to be returned.

+ Platform isn't too chunky so doesn't get in the way whilst waking, attatchble strap so it can be folded up when not in use & of course the swivel wheels for ease whilst walking.
    - Was abit fiddly to connect onto the pram for the intial set up as instructions aren't the best, but once done it's not needed to be removed so it's all good.

    Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

+ So much easier to use than pushing a double buggy around!
Clips on and off easily for storage.
Doesn't seem to get in the way when walking.
Fits a lot of different pushchairs and though it takes time to fit correctly the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. You can check online to see if it will fit your pushchair or not before purchasing.
Seems to cope with most curbs.
    - I do struggle to disconnect it from its holding strap (strap clips to board to keep out of way when child not using it) but hopefully this will get easier over time.
Is rather noisier than I expected (everyone hears you coming!) but my son likes it thinking it sounds like a train on some surfaces!

+ Really happy with this product my lg does walk most the time but if we are out doing a lot of walking she gets tired and grumpy so it's great for her to jump on and have a rest wasn't worth me buying a double pushchair as she is 3 1/2 but great especially when I'm out by myself! Also the base is bigger than some I have seen so her feet can fit comfortably on there without her having to keep her feet in a certain position!
    - Bit tricky to get used to pushing as it does stick out a bit so have knocked my toes a couple of times but slowly getting used to it!

    Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

    + My toddler likes it!

When toddler uses it I can walk at a normal pace - which is one of the reasons why I bought it.

The board lifts up out of the way when not in use.

It does what it says and is a place for my toddler to ride if she doesn't want to walk any longer.
    - Difficult to assemble. First time I foolishly thought I'd just pop it out of the box and put it on while on my outing. After ages I gave up thinking the directions must be wrong. Thankfully my dad was visiting and eventually worked out that I had begun in backwards and that is why I couldn't put it in the correct position for my pram.

The release to bring the board down after lifting it up with the strap is really difficult and fiddly.

The board doesn't fold with the pram so has to be removed every time you close the pram up, and stored separately.

Have to fully extend arms to walk semi-normal behind it so not the most comfortable. Or can push one handed and walk beside, but again a little awkward.

Doesn't work great on curbs and stairs.

We have a Silver Cross Linear Freeway pram and it fits really well and my eldest can travel comfortably on it and when tired the board is big enough for them to sit with their legs on!!
    - The buggy board was an absolute nightmare to set up but we did it in the end! The guide I was given was totally wrong so I just went on how it fitted best onto our pram which was alot easier!

+ It does what it is suppose to do, but it may of been a lot easier to setup and remove on other pushchairs.
    - With my soon on the buggy board it is really hard to turn corners in narrow shops but I presume this problem apply a to all buggy boards? Maybe a future design change would suit buggy boards for wheels to be replaced with a rolling ball substitute? I say this because when my child is on the board the wheels don't rotate in directions as easy.

    - Took ages to attach to the pushchair. Went out for a test around the block, it swings all over the place. 2 yr old had to keep getting off so i could go up/down curbs.
The way it swings around when walking in a straight line just makes it very unsafe (my daughter fell off and cut her face). Took it it back and got a full refund due to feeling it was too unsafe for my daughter.

    - Confusing instructions, hard to assemble. Doesn't fit amazingly onto my quinny buzz. Constantly catching my toes on it when I'm walking. My child doesn't always like to ride on it (not that that's your fault - just that it's a lot of money to spend to realise your child doesn't like it...) perhaps you could have a try before you buy option.

Seems quite flimsy and by son has to lean away from the push chair to stand on it and that's the ferthest I can set it! Very cheaply made and we have to take it off completely to fold down the push chair! Do not buy not worth the money and it's not cheap!

+ So convenient to take my daughters out for a walk. No need for a double buggy. Folds away easily.
    - The attachments were assembled and the wrong way round making initial installation difficult.
On our pram the my4 it has to be quite close to stop it catching on our feet as we walk.

The fold away and release clip is very stiff and difficult to release the board for use.

+ Initial fitting was relatively easy
    - Even though the Phil and Teds Sport was indicated as compatible, the attachments to the body of the buggy moved immediately it was used, rotating to the side where the board bumped the wheels.
The clip to hold the board up when not in use was impossible to open without help from a screwdriver
When walking, I constantly kicked the board which extended too far.

+ I like the idea of the product, could be very useful if thought through properly in terms of design
    - Hard to put together, plastic screws mould out of shape when trying to screw them in, why not use metal? And it did not fit easily to the pushchair, which is the same one advertised on the packet. A bit ackward to push found myself hunching over, not comfortable. Would be better as a little seat for the toddler. It fell apart on my first try and I haven't used it again yet.

+ Attaches and detaches quite efficiently once assembled
    - Assembly Instructions are not at all clear.

It is not stable for the child to stand on if there is no baby / child in the actual pram. The hop-on collapses forward and child can be hurt. That s/be clearly stated in the instructions.

It is also not particularly easy / comfortable to push the stroller with the hop-on attached as you have to reach around the child & bend your back forwards whilst walking in order to push.

    Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

+ Does what it says on the tin in that attaches (loosely) to the back of the pushchair and my 2 year old can stand on it. No mention in the description that it is impractical almost to the point that it can't be used.
    - The way that the board attaches to the pushchair is terrible. Although they say their pram and their board are perfectly compatible they aren't. The arms on the board are not the same width as the pram and do not adjust so the board will not sit square and flat. Plus the fixings are so loose that the board moves about and slides down anyway. And due to the fact that the board moves it is almost impossible to push because the pram veers off one way or another. My partner has pulled a muscle in her leg after battling round town and we haven't used it since. Steering is nigh impossible and pushing over mud, gravel, sand, dry leaves, up curbs, uphill or around corners is even harder.

    Terrible.

+ Sturdy enough... my daughter does enjoy going on it
    - The clip used to hold it up when not in use is stiff to unclip again ...and on many occasions ive had to put it in the car boot in the "up" position as it wont unclip. Our boot is large luckily.
The board is a little tricky when negotiating kerbs.
I do find myself leaning back when my daughter is on the board...not good for a post pregnancy back. When clipped up the dirty wheels brush my knees. This may be the case for all boards...or due to our pram type.

Also, we find that we are unable to collapse the buggy because of the brackets for the platform.

- It is supposed to be adaptable to different prams/pushchairs but I found it didn't sit in any position particularly well. When the toddler was travelling on it, it skidded about and she needed to transfer her weight to counteract against it!

Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

+ Very easy to attach and detach.
- Tricky to initially fit. Not as sturdy as I would have hoped for the money.

Mothercare Hop On Stroller Platform

+ Sturdy enough... my daughter does enjoy going on it
- The clip used to hold it up when not in use is stiff to unclip again ...and on many occasions ive had to put it in the car boot in the "up" position as it wont unclip. Our boot is large luckily.
The board is a little tricky when negotiating kerbs.
I do find myself leaning back when my daughter is on the board...not good for a post pregnancy back. When clipped up the dirty wheels brush my knees. This may be the case for all boards...or due to our pram type.
