  + Just perfect for my 3and5year old granddaughters.
  Lovely bright animal pictures and they loved the fluorescent laces.
  A good introduction for simple sewing as they wanted to sew like their 12 year old sister.
  - Would have been nice to have had a large needle for the next step.

  + Fun way to start learning to sew. Good for developing fine motor control.
  - Not sure how long string will last, once ends start to fray you won't be able to thread it through the holes. Would be nicer if string was one solid colour rather than multicoloured, so child could choose a colour to match each picture.
